Truffle McFurry tells the story:
 Hello everybody!
When I was in Albi in France recently, I met all my French Teddy bear cousins, it was wonderful! Among them was a very special one: Caramel!
Caramel is so special because... he has got a harelip! Some time ago, the lady dog of the house, Douchka, was alone at home with Caramel, and was a bit bored. So she decided to play with Caramel. But unfortunately, she did not know much about Teddy bears, and how fragile they are, and she just chewed offon a bit of Caramel's nose!
Caramel was so ashamed of how he looked like that he did not want to be ever seen again. And so he lived hidden at the bottom of a drawer for years. But his Mom spoke to him recently, and convinced him that he could have an operation, and after that still look lovely and live a normal life again, in the daylight, with all his brothers and sisters.
A lovely old lady operated on him, and now he looks like he has got a harelip. But a very little one only, and in fact it looks very cute! Very different from everybody else! And Caramel understands how unique that makes him!
Douchka, very sorry about the whole story, has decided to take Caramel under her protection, and hardly leaves his side!
What a beloved and happy bear he is, after all!
Take care
xx
