� Hello everybody!
When I was in Albi in France recently, I met all my French Teddy bear cousins, it was wonderful! Among them was a very special one: Caramel!
Caramel is so special because... he has got a harelip! Some time ago, the lady dog of the house, Douchka, was alone at home with Caramel, and was a bit bored. So she decided to play with Caramel. But unfortunately, she did not know much about Teddy bears, and how fragile they are, and she just chewed offon a bit of Caramel's nose!
Caramel was so ashamed of how he looked like that he did not want to be ever seen again. And so he lived hidden at the bottom of a drawer for years. But his Mom spoke to him recently, and convinced him that he could have an operation, and after that still look lovely and live a normal life again, in the daylight, with all his brothers and sisters.
Miki, a long short story... Miki is a professional French artist, born in the Pyrenees, Her works have been sold and published worldwide. Her painting is a reflection of her life: a permanent oscillation between light and shadow, lines and shapes, times and places, always looking for that equilibrium which she can only find in continuous movement, in the mysterious and the unknown. A life divided between two passions: mathematics and painting. The first as a supreme form of abstract art ruling her universe... The second as a way of cementing the beauty of that art.
